NPS delays today

This page shows airport-wide delays the FAA reports for NPS: ground stops, ground delay programs, general departure and arrival delays, and closures. It updates every few minutes. Individual flights can be delayed even when the airport has no reported delays, so check your flight status too.

During a ground stop, flights heading to the affected airport are held at their departure airports, usually because of weather or congestion. Flights already in the air continue. Ground stops are often short, and the FAA lists an expected end time when one is known.

A ground delay program slows the flow of flights into an airport by delaying departures from other airports. The FAA reports the average and maximum delay. It usually affects arrivals to the airport more than departures from it.

Check your flight status with your airline, which may rebook or notify you. If you're parking, allow extra time for the shuttle and security, and check your parking reservation's terms if your trip dates change.
